Case summary
Armando Vallejos Hazeldine, known by the alias "Sergio Valdebenito Hernández", was an agent of the Central Nacional de Informaciones (CNI). In January 1986, he participated in the detention and interrogation of a group of students in Lautaro and Temuco, events for which he was judicially prosecuted for unlawful coercion.

27.- Statement by Armando Vallejos Hazeldine , from page 279 and page 479 CNI agent , for January 1986 in Temuco, whose operational name was “Sergio Valdebenito Hernández ", who stated that he participated in the detention of a group of young people who were part of a guerrilla school in the rural sector of Lautaro.
On that occasion, he drove a vehicle in which he transported CNI personnel who had arrived from Santiago to that location. Likewise, he recalls that Major Wehbi of the CNI of Valdivia and agents from Angol joined this operation.
He recalls that among the agents from Temuco who attended the operation was Erasmo Bravo Huaiquiñir . Once the individuals were detained, they were transferred to Temuco where they were separated by gender, and subsequently, the interrogations began, in which the personnel from Santiago intervened, along with agents Ovalle Lyon, Voisier, and Bravo Huaiquiñir from Temuco.
