Tabitha Carolina García Gutiérrez died that day at 11:30 hours, at Avenida Bernardo O’Higgins No. 2863, apartment 407, Santiago, due to gunshot wounds with destruction of the cranium and brain and projectile exit wounds, as certified by the Medical Death Certificate from the Legal Medical Institute.

According to information provided by a family member, on the day of the events, the young woman was at her home, located near the Presidential Palace, and, at a time when gunfire was being reported in the area, she was struck by two projectiles that entered the apartment from the outside.

Although it was not possible to clarify the precise circumstances of her death, the Superior Council, considering the cause of death, the location, and the date on which it occurred, declared Tabitha Carolina García Gutiérrez a victim of the prevailing political violence.
