ROJAS GONZALEZ, SERGIO WENCESLAO: 18 years old, single, victim of political execution on September 26, 1973 in Santiago.
Hernán Sergio González Nicolau, Gabriel Ricardo Martínez Leyton, Juan José Manuel Morales Herrera, and Sergio Wenceslao Rojas Gonzalez died that day, at 08:00 hours, at the Parque Residencial Alameda in Santiago, due to thoracic and abdominal gunshot wounds, according to their respective Medical Death Certificates from the Legal Medical Institute.
However, according to statements from family members and witnesses, these four individuals were detained on September 26 at a residence in the Parque Residencial Alameda, in the Las Rejas sector, by members of Carabineros, who took them to an unknown location.
After several days of intense searching, their families found their bodies at the Legal Medical Institute.
Considering the evidence gathered and the investigations conducted by this Corporation, the Superior Council reached the conviction that Hernán Sergio González Nicolau, Gabriel Ricardo Nelson Martínez Leyton, Juan José Manuel Morales Herrera, and Sergio Wenceslao Rojas González were detained and executed by State agents, outside of any legal process.
Therefore, it declared them victims of human rights violations.
