On October 14, 1973, Segundo Hernán Antonio MUÑOZ ROJAS passed away. Three days earlier, he had been detained at his home by carabineros from the Curacaví police station. From that moment on, his whereabouts remained unknown until his lifeless body was found on October 14 at the Esperanza bridge, Padre Hurtado. The body showed an abdominal-thoracic gunshot wound.
According to the death certificate, he died on October 14, 1973, at 2:00 a.m. due to an abdominal-thoracic gunshot wound.
This Commission has reached the conviction that Hernán Antonio Rojas was executed by State agents, as his detention and subsequent violent death during curfew hours have been verified, this act constituting an attack against the right to life.
