On October 18, Jorge ROBLES ROBLES, 43 years old, a merchant, was arrested at his home by agents of Investigaciones. He was taken to the police barracks. Testimonies provided to the Commission indicate that he was released while the curfew was in effect, only to be killed by military personnel and buried on a farm near Los Angeles. To this date, his whereabouts remain unknown.
Having verified his arrest by State agents and his presence in a police facility, this Commission is convinced that the disappearance of Jorge Robles constitutes a human rights violation for which the State is responsible due to the actions of its agents.
