According to the statement provided by his spouse, on September 16, around 17:30 hours, Roberto Anfrens left his home, located in the Plaza Almagro sector, heading toward the Los Nogales neighborhood, in the Estación Central commune, for work reasons.

The following day, she was notified by a family friend that his body was at the Zanjón de La Aguada, along with three other bodies; she went there and verified the fact.

Although this Corporation was unable to determine the precise circumstances of his death, the Superior Council, considering especially the date, place, and cause of his death, declared Roberto Enrique Anfrens Fuentes a victim of the prevailing political violence.
