On September 16, 1973, the three brothers were executed in the Población Los Nogales:
Hernán Rafael SEPULVEDA BRAVO, 28 years old;
Juan Manuel SEPULVEDA BRAVO, 25 years old; and
Ricardo del Carmen SEPULVEDA BRAVO, 16 years old.
At approximately 07:00 hours, police officers violently entered the victims' home, beating the residents and raiding the house. They took the three brothers into custody and led them to the corner of Uspallata and Antofagasta streets. There, in the presence of witnesses, they executed them.
Hernán and Juan Manuel died on the spot. Ricardo del Carmen was transported to Posta Nº3, where he died at 13:00 hours.
The circumstances described allow this Commission to form the conviction that the brothers Hernán Rafael, Juan Manuel, and Ricardo del Carmen were executed, outside of any legal process, by State agents who gravely violated their right to life.
