QUIDEL REUMAY, FRANCISCO: 28 years old, single, laborer, victim of political execution on December 10, 1973, in Santiago.

Both died that day at 8:30 a.m. at the Cementerio Metropolitano from multiple gunshot wounds, as certified by their respective Medical Death Certificates from the Instituto Médico Legal.

According to eyewitness statements, Roberto Painiqueo and Francisco Quidel were detained by a military patrol at approximately 11:00 p.m. on December 9, at the residence where they were renting a room, located in the La Legua neighborhood. The uniformed personnel raided the room, found a bladed weapon, and took them away to an unknown destination.

The following day, their bodies were found on the grounds of the Cementerio Metropolitano, about 80 meters from the entrance.

Their remains were identified by their relatives at the Instituto Médico Legal.

Considering the evidence gathered and the investigation conducted by this Corporation, the Superior Council reached the conviction that Roberto Painiqueo Tropa and Francisco Quidel Reumay were executed outside of any legal process by State agents who held them in custody, a situation constituting a violation of human rights.
