Rosalindo del Carmen Retamal died that day at 6:00 hours, in Pudahuel, due to thoracic-abdominal gunshot wounds, as certified by the Medical Death Certificate from the Legal Medical Institute.
According to eyewitnesses, Rosalindo Retamal was detained by a military patrol at the door of his home located in the Pudahuel commune.
His body was subsequently found in a vacant lot known as "El Tranque," located in the same commune, and was identified by his family at the Legal Medical Institute.
Considering the evidence gathered and the investigation conducted by this Corporation, the Superior Council reached the conviction that Rosalindo del Carmen Retamal was executed by State agents outside of any legal process, a situation constituting a human rights violation.
