On that day, as previously noted, a shooting took place at the port of Valparaíso. During that incident, the victim received two gunshot wounds that caused his death on the public thoroughfare.
Having learned of the facts that led to his death, this Commission has reached the conviction that René Aguilera was a victim of the situation of political violence at that time.
