Pedro Raúl Poklepovic Braun died that day at 21:00 hours, in his home, an apartment on Calle Miraflores, due to a right frontoparietal gunshot wound with an exit wound, as certified by the Medical Death Certificate from the Legal Medical Institute.

According to statements from family members, on the day of the events, Pedro Poklepovic was at his home, where he lived with his parents. During the night, while he was sitting by a large window facing the street, he was struck by a projectile coming from outside, which caused his death at the scene.

Considering the gathered evidence and the investigation conducted by this Corporation, and taking into account the time period and the cause of death, the Superior Council declared Pedro Raúl Poklepovic Braun a victim of the prevailing political violence.
