On October 19, 1973, Pedro Enrique TRONCOSO SAAVEDRA, 33 years old, a painter, was executed.
The victim was arrested that same day at his home in Conchalí, in the presence of witnesses, by members of the Fuerza Aérea (Air Force). His lifeless body was found an hour later on Camino Lo Espejo, as indicated by the corresponding autopsy report, with the cause of death being a gunshot wound to the cranium, with an exit wound.
Bearing in mind that the last available information regarding Troncoso is the moment he was apprehended by members of the Fuerza Aérea, and his subsequent appearance, deceased, on a public road, in addition to the aforementioned cause of death, this Commission has formed the conviction that he was a victim of a violation of his right to life, through acts committed by agents of the State.
