On Saturday, November 26, 1989, at 9:00 p.m., 16-year-old Pablo Marcelo ROBLES ORTEGA, who had no political affiliation, bought a bottle of liquor with a cousin at a liquor store in the La Obra sector to take to a party.

At that moment, a power outage occurred, apparently as a result of an explosion, which led a friend to advise them not to pass through the area where the monolith is located. However, to return to his cousin's house, it was necessary to walk through that place, and when they passed by, they felt an impact and both fell wounded; the young Robles died a few minutes later.

The Commission, having considered the reviewed background information, has reached the conviction that Pablo Robles is a victim of political violence.
