On October 5, 1973, Oscar Jesús DELGADO MARIN, 30 years old, a member of the Presidential Security Detail (GAP) and a socialist militant, was executed at the Estadio Nacional.

On September 18, his family saw him for the last time at his home and subsequently began searching for him until they were informed that he had been killed at the Estadio Nacional on October 5, as a result of a "complicated gunshot wound to the chest," according to the corresponding death certificate, which expressly states that the place of death was said Stadium.

His body was buried in the Cementerio General de Santiago, in patio 29, on October 22 of that year.

Based on the evidence gathered, the Commission has reached the conviction that Oscar Jesús Delgado was executed by State agents inside the detention facility where he was being held, precisely under their custody, which constitutes a violation of human rights.
