On May 11, 1984, during the Ninth National Day of Protest, 18-year-old Miguel Angel GONZALEZ BRAVO, a high school graduate, died while anti-government demonstrations were taking place at the intersection of Calle Rojas Magallanes and Américo Vespucio (Santiago).
A car passed through the area, from which unidentified individuals fired weapons, leaving him wounded in the street. He died as a result of a gunshot wound to the cranium.
