In the Estación Central sector, Carabineros officer Pedro Angel CARIAGA MATELUNA, 23 years of age, died. He was on duty at the 11th Carabineros Precinct of Santiago, under the Southern Prefecture (currently the 21st Precinct), when it was attacked from the School of Arts and Crafts, resulting in a confrontation.
Pedro Cariaga was then struck by the attackers' gunfire, falling victim to the situation of political violence.
