Manuel Vicente González Muñoz, 30 years old, died on March 28, 1975, in the vicinity of his home located at the El Despertar camp, Metropolitan Region, as a result of a gunshot wound to the lung. That day, he had gone to visit a neighbor and stayed out late, past the start of the decreed curfew.

While attempting to seek shelter, he was struck by a bullet fired by military personnel, who were controlling said camp at that time. The evidence gathered by this commission allowed for the conviction that Manuel González Muñoz died as a consequence of the actions of State agents.
