On September 21, 1973, Carabineros from the Dávila Police Station arrived to conduct a raid on the Clínica Bancaria de Pensiones, detaining:
Antonio Artemio TAMAYO REYES, 31 years old, employee.
Luis Alberto ORTEGA FERNANDEZ, 31 years old, employee.
Luis Porfirio ALZAMORA GONZALEZ, 21 years old, employee.
Luis Sergio MENDEZ ORTEGA, 25 years old, mechanic.
A total of ten staff members were detained, whose names were on a list, and they were taken to the police station and interrogated. In the afternoon of that same day, six of the detainees were released.
The remaining four were transferred to the Estadio Nacional and appeared on the lists kept at that facility, according to testimonies received by this Commission. Through information that reached the clinic, it was learned that the bodies were at the Instituto Médico Legal.
All autopsy reports indicate that the bodies were brought from the Estadio Nacional and that the cause of death was gunshot wounds. The coffins were delivered sealed to their families. The date of death is September 22.
The Commission, after analyzing the gathered evidence, reached the conviction that the aforementioned individuals were victims of political executions outside of any legal process. This conviction is based on the following circumstances: the detention of all of them was verified, as well as their imprisonment at the Estadio Nacional; the cause of death was gunshot wounds; it was also established that three of them died at the Estadio Nacional, and therefore it is to be presumed that the fourth death occurred under identical circumstances.
