On September 13, 1973, Luis Alberto MARCHANT MARCHANT, 43 years old, a newspaper vendor, was forcibly disappeared from his home.
On the day in question, he left his home to work with one of his sons in the area of Avda. Independencia. He was detained by a military patrol, beaten, and placed into a vehicle heading south. He has been missing ever since.
Having verified the detention, the Commission formed the conviction that he is forcibly disappeared and is a victim of human rights violations, attributable to the actions of State agents.
