On September 16, 1973, Juan Bautista CERDA LUCERO, 27 years old, a public transport driver, died.
In the days following September 11, the victim left his home, heading toward a friend's house in the El Bosque 1 neighborhood of Conchalí. From that moment on, his family received no further news of him, until his body was found at the Legal Medical Institute. The body had been abandoned on a public street and showed twenty bullet wounds.
The Commission has reached the conviction that the death of Juan Bautista Cerda Lucero is reasonably attributable to the actions of armed State agents, who used excessive force against him, violating his fundamental rights.
