Jorge Eduardo Wiech Sepúlveda, 29 years old, a militant of the MIR, former military officer, and former member of the GAP, was forcibly disappeared in Santiago, Metropolitan Region, at the end of February 1975.
According to the testimony of witnesses known to this Commission, the victim was last seen at Villa Grimaldi, the place from which his trail was lost after he was subjected to torture. Based on the evidence gathered, this Commission reached the conviction that the disappearance of Jorge Eduardo Wiech Sepúlveda was the work of State agents.

- In this context, Jorge Eduardo Wiech Sepúlveda, known as “Milico Iván” or “Iván,” 29 years of age, a member of the Central Force of the Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR), a former Boina Negra militant, and a former member of the Grupo de Amigos del Presidente Salvador Allende Gossens (GAP), was, at the time, deprived of his liberty by agents belonging to the Halcón group of the Caupolicán Brigade of the Dirección Nacional de Inteligencia (DINA) and transferred to the clandestine center “Villa Grimaldi,” a place where he was seen by witnesses and where his trail was definitively lost; his whereabouts have remained unknown since that moment, with no subsequent news of him, nor any record of his departure from or entry into the country, nor any document certifying his death.

The minister on extraordinary duty for human rights violation cases of the Santiago Court of Appeals, Mario Carroza Espinosa, convicted two agents of the Dirección de Inteligencia Nacional (DINA) for their responsibility in the crime of aggravated kidnapping of Jorge Eduardo Wiech Sepúlveda.
The illicit act was committed starting in February 1975, in the Metropolitan Region. In the ruling, the presiding minister sentenced Rolf Gonzalo Wenderoth Pozo and Miguel Krassnoff Martchenko to five years and one day of effective imprisonment as perpetrators of the crime.
The ruling establishes that “Jorge Eduardo Wiech Sepúlveda, known as ‘Milico Iván’ or ‘Iván,’ 29 years of age, a member of the Central Force of the Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (MIR), a former Boina Negra military officer, and a former member of the Grupo de Amigos del Presidente Salvador Allende Gossens (GAP), was, at the time, deprived of his liberty by agents belonging to the Halcón Group of the Caupolicán Brigade of the Dirección de Inteligencia Nacional (DINA) and transferred to the clandestine center ‘Villa Grimaldi’.” It is further indicated that at the then-named Terranova barracks, “he is seen by witnesses and his trail is definitively lost there, his whereabouts remaining unknown since that moment, with no subsequent news of him, nor any record of his departure from or entry into the country, nor any document certifying his death.”
