Jaime MENESES CISTERNA, 28 years old, freelance photographer;
Miguel Segundo ORELLANA BARRERA, 32 years old, driver;
Jorge Bernardino PINTO ESQUIVEL, 53 years old, union leader; and
Nardo del Carmen SEPULVEDA MANCILLA, 24 years old, laborer.
The first three were arrested during a military operation carried out in the población Roosevelt on the aforementioned day, in the morning hours, and were loaded onto a public transport bus under the charge of soldiers from the Buin Regiment, subsequently taken to a location that has not been possible to determine.
The fourth was arrested at his workplace, located in the commune of Conchalí, also by members of the Buin Regiment.
All bodies were found with multiple gunshot wounds, as recorded in the respective death certificates, on the Panamericana Norte that same day.
The Commission formed the conviction that the deaths of Jaime Meneses Cisterna, Miguel Segundo Orellana Barrera, and Jorge Bernardino Pinto Esquivel constituted political executions outside of all legality and grave violations of human rights, attributable to the actions of State agents, with their detention having been established and given the specific causes of their deaths.
