Iván Nelson Olivares Coronel, an 18-year-old student and member of the MIR, was executed by DINA agents on October 21, 1975. On October 21, 1975, Iván Nelson OLIVARES CORONEL, a student and member of the MIR, was killed by members of the DINA. That day, during curfew hours, agents from that organization arrived at the victim's home looking for him.
Iván Olivares fled, taking refuge in the garden of a neighboring house. He was found by the agents, who shot him, wrapped him in a sheet, and took him away in a pickup truck.
The following day, his body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute by the "Government Security Services." The autopsy report notes two gunshot wounds.
The Commission reached the conviction that Iván Olivares was executed by State agents, in violation of his human rights.
