Hernán Sergio Molina died that day at 16:20 hours, on the south side of the Cementerio Metropolitano, due to three gunshot wounds with exit points, two thoracic and one cranial-encephalic, as recorded in the Medical Death Certificate issued by the Instituto Médico Legal.
According to the statement provided by his partner, Hernán Molina was arrested at his home located on Calle Las Industrias, in the commune of San Joaquín, during curfew hours, by members of the Fuerza Aérea de Chile, who were carrying a list of people that included his name.
Fifteen days later, and after an intense search, his partner found his body at the Instituto Médico Legal.
Based on the evidence gathered and the investigation carried out by this Corporation, the Superior Council reached the conviction that Hernán Sergio Molina was executed while being held in detention by State agents outside of any legal process and, consequently, declared him a victim of human rights violations.
