On August 23, 1984, a group of extremists raided the Italiana and Real armories located at Nos. 164 and 169 on Calle Arturo Prat, in Santiago. During their escape, they clashed with CNI agents in the area of the North-South highway near Parque O’Higgins, resulting in the fatal wounding of Guido Héctor SEPULVEDA FERREIRA, who was passing through the area by chance.
Considering the evidence gathered, the Commission has reached the conviction that Guido Sepúlveda is a victim of political violence.
