Case summary
Cristián García Huidobro, Lieutenant (ret.) of the FACH, was identified as a cruel torturer at the Air Force War Academy during the Chilean dictatorship. Together with his wife, Sandra Alarma Zunino, also a torturer, he is held responsible for the suffering and forced disappearance of opponents of the regime.

Cristián García Huidobro has been identified by retired General Sergio Poblete Garcés, in case file 1058 of the 9th Criminal Court presided over by Judge Raquel Lermanda, as one of the cruelest torturers at the Academia de Guerra Aérea, a claim also supported by all survivors.
At the Academia de Guerra Aérea, he met Sandra Alarma Zunino, a former member of the MIR, who became a torturer and is responsible for the detention and forced disappearance of several of her colleagues from the Theater School of the Universidad de Chile. Both torturers, García Huidobro and Alarma Zunino, married and have a son.
