In April 1975, Cedomil Lucas LAUSIC GLASINOVIC, an agricultural technician and militant of the MIR, died after being detained by DINA agents between the third and fourth of that month.

He was taken to the DINA facility at Villa Grimaldi, where he was seen by multiple witnesses. At that location, he was subjected to punches, kicks, beatings with chains, and blows with rifle butts, all with extreme violence, apparently for having attempted to assault a guard and escape.

As a result of the beatings, Cedomil Lucas Lausic was left in an agonizing state. A detainee who was able to see him reported that he was semi-unconscious, with his back and buttocks transformed into a red-purple inflammation, and that he was suffering from severe headaches. He remained in that state for three days until he was removed from his cell in a handcart.

His body was admitted to the Legal Medical Institute on April 9. It recorded multiple contusions and subsequent anemia.

The Commission reached the conviction that Cedomil Lucas Lausic died as a consequence of the torture suffered at the hands of his captors, DINA agents, who thereby violated his human rights.
