On October 20, 1973, Rubén BRAVO BRAVO, 55 years old, a farmer and member of the Partido Socialista, was detained. He was apprehended in the El Pillay sector by personnel from the Escuela de Artillería de Linares and taken to that military facility.
According to multiple and consistent testimonies known to this Commission, he was seen there in deplorable physical condition. This is the last information available regarding the victim.
Having established the fact of his detention by military personnel and his subsequent stay at a military facility, and taking into account his political affiliation, this Commission has reached the conviction that Rubén Bravo was forcibly disappeared by State agents, in an act of violation of his fundamental rights.
